The electric handle is prepared for fitting to handle plates, push-bar handles, touch-bar handles and mortise panic locks with pre-drilled screw holes
The locks must be prepared for the handle to be used on the outer side
In order to open the door in the absence of electricity, or a strain or fault of the electric handle, the use of locks with key-operated click and the use of the cylinder is advised
The electric handle is not designed to be exposed to weather conditions
Example of installation |

WARNING
- The fixing instructions included in the package must be followed scrupulously during installation. On completion of the work, the installer must deliver this document to the proprietor of the business
- In order for the electric handle to function properly, it should only be placed on doors and frames that are in good condition. Therefore, the door must be checked to ensure that it is correctly mounted, that it is not obstructed in its movement and that there are no deformations or deterioration
- It is not anticipated that the electric handle will be fitted to applied panic touch-bars, touch handles that have the door-retaining systems within them, but only to inserted panic touch-bars. That is, those that require a lock to retain the door closed
- Ensure that a lock with pre-drilled screw holes is installed on the frame and, in the case of fitting to panic touch-bars, the lock must be prepared for the use of the split frame
- If the installed lock should prove to be in bad condition, show wear or not function freely, substitute the lock or return it to best conditions of use
- Should the fixing of the electric handle tend to push the door, thereby compromising its correct functioning, it is possible to use an underplate (art. 00406) to increase the support surface of the electric handle
